Christmas Tree Tutorial

Hi Everyone!  Sorry again for not posting sooner!  We are trying so hard to keep up with this blog and our shop is getting the best of us.  Anyways we have started Christmas!  My mom and I both took our Fall decor down last week, and spent the weekend cleaning and getting our Christmas items out! Wahoo we are excited!  Today we are going to share a Christmas Tree tutorial, with a 7 1/2 slim tree.  Many of our customers have requested this. The first ornament I used was lanterns, we love these little lanterns.  They work great with the battery operated candles and they are so different and unique!  I haven't put the candles in mine yet because I am out of batteries, I will show this at a later date!

On the tree they go!  I used about 12.

Next I used artificial grapevine.  I love this stuff!  It is so easy to work with, it looks real, and it doesn't make a mess like the real grapevine!

Next I put the homemade Christmas Ornaments (from our last post), berries, and holly.  I also added some pine cones and cedar pics.

We recommend fluff your tree up before putting ornaments on to get as much fullness as you can out of it.  We think it is always better to put the bigger ornaments on the tree first.  Fill the rest with smaller ornaments, berries, pine pics, or any other item you will use on your tree.  Play around and try different things to get the look you want!  Have fun with it!  We will be posting much more and the whole tree when we get more decorated! Thanks for stopping by everyone!  Did you start Christmas yet?!
