Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. My mom and I were both busy working on our houses, cleaning, decorating, you know the drill! Today I wanted to take some old pumpkins I had and do something fun with them. We thought of spray painting them into metalic colors. They turned out so nice I love them! Ok so here is what I did.
First I just picked out the colors I wanted to use, which were gold, copper, and bronze. I painted the gold and copper first and didn't really like the way they turned out it was a little too much.
So I took the bronze and lightly sprayed the pumpkins with it. You can still see the gold and copper, but now they have a tint of bronze. I had all of these spray paints, but I am pretty sure we got them at walmart.
Now for the buffet, I placed a burlap square as the table runner. I added a bow to the pumpkin, the lamps, and the three light amber vases. The lantern takes a taper candle, I put a battery operated candle in to avoid any wax spilling!
I like the way it turned out, especially the pumpkins it really changed them and they look so much better. Now I have two more pumpkins to find something to do with! I love to work with spray paint and make things look totally different then they did before, don't you? What do you think, do you like the pumpkins? Thanks everyone for stopping by, we hope you are enjoying Fall! :)
