Liebster Award

Hi Everyone!  We were very honored when Melinda at The Refeathered Roost passed her Liebster Award along to Rusty Heart Designs.  Liebster, in German, means endearing, valued, and lovely. The award acknowledges up and coming bloggers for outstanding accomplishments within design that is presented on their blog.

Here are the rules for accepting the award:

1. Each blogger should post 11 random facts about
themselves.
2. Answer the questions the tagger has set for you, and then
create 11 new questions for the chosen bloggers.
3. Choose 11 new bloggers (with less than 200 followers) to pass the award to and link them in your post.
4. Go back to their page and tell them about the award.
5. No tag backs.

Here are the questions that Melinda asked about us:

1. What is your favorite room in your home?

My mom and I both love her Sunroom. It is so bright with all the windows, and natural light just puts us in a good mood. 

2. If you could live in any home that is in a television program, movie or book, which house would you choose. We both love the house in The Notebook. The Home Alone house has always been a favorite too!

3. What is the item that you dream of bringing home but it's just too dad-gum expensive? Pottery barn furniture

4. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Both night owls! In fact, we can get online at night and surf the internet and read blogs. Then we email or message each other our finds!

5. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas! There is nothing like it for us. We wait for it every year!

6. Do you think I look fat in this? And if you do, why in the world wouldn't you just lie to me? JUST KIDDING!
6. One piece or two piece bathing suit? I'm not kidding. Right now neither! haha

7. What is the next project you are considering for your home? A Dining Room makover! My mom would love to refinish her furniture, change up the walls (that are now wallpapered) and put down wood floors instead of the teal green carpeting she's had to live with for too many years! haha!

8. Are you an extrovert or an introvert? (Sorry...I had to put one question in here concerning personality types.) Both haha! Of course everyone likes spending time by themselves but also we love meeting and talking with new people at our shop.

9. What feeling do you hope your home evokes when visitors enter? We always want our homes to be warm and inviting. We love the cozy feel!

10. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? Denise has been to Italy, and I would love to go one day.

11. What is the greatest joy you find in blogging? Meeting new people and getting inspiration for new projects in our houses!
