Hi Everyone! Wow we have been away for awhile! Denise has been really sick and she is just starting to feel better so we have been taking a little break, but are ready to get back to it! Today we wanted to share a simple everyday swag. I made these last year and decided to change them up a little. I use them on my front doors in my entry way. They are fun to make to! You can use any type of greenery, I used a long hanging green, and a hanging ivy bush.
First thing you I did was pulled some small pieces from the top of the bush and used these for the top of the swag. Next I mixed the two different bushes together.
I used a sinamay ribbon for the bow, which I absolutely love for spring/summer and everyday! I also used a small bush to fill in different areas of the swag.
I pulled this bush apart and cut the stems off into smaller pieces.
I attached the bow with the wire.
On a swag like this I just stuck the pieces of the bush in the swag, filling in some of the bare spots. There was no need to glue or wire the filler on.
In the picture above you can see on the right side where the I put the small pic and and how much better it looks to add a little more greenery.
Here is some of the start of how we decorate after the holidays. We have so much more to do, and are a little behind but are really in no hurry. We are working on a lot more projects and will be sharing soon! Thanks so much for stopping by, and sorry we have been so out of it! I am hoping Denise feel much better next week! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Hi Shelia! Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
DeleteThe swags are so pretty, and they look very nice on your doors. The ribbon makes it and adds a special touch. You could even put a heart on there for Valentine's Day. Have a good week.
