Valentine's Day Mantel

Hi Everyone!  We are getting back into the swing of things around here, these winter months are tough! We wanted to share a Valentine's Day Mantel.  We don't do too much decorating for Valentine's Day, but I really like these colors this year.

I made a couple rose balls out of the Dollar Tree Rose Soaps.  You can find the post here on how to make them!

I filled one jar with berry balls, and the other with grapevine balls and dried flowers.

I found this pine cone heart wreath at TJ Maxx, I love it because of the colors and it is so different.

Hope you are all surviving winter!  It is so boring here, although we did see some sunshine today!  Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Christmas Tree & Mantel

Merry Christmas everyone!  How are you all doing?  Can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve!  We wanted to share a couple more post on our Christmas decor, better late then never right?!?  This is Denise's Family room for Christmas.  I love how her mantel turned out, she kept it simple because the garland is so lush and full. I really love the way it turned out.

I love the holly ribbon on the tree, she also used it on the mantel.  If you remember from our other post we love holly!

These red berry balls show up so well on the trees, they are so different and unique.

She mixed in some real cedar on her mantel, I absolutely love this when you walk past it, it smells like Christmas!!

Her room is so cozy and smells just like Christmas!  We hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your families!  Merry Christmas!

Christmas in the Family Room

Hi Everyone!  How are you all doing? We are just about done with all of our decorating, now it's on to baking and shopping!  I always seem to think I will get ahead on the shopping part and that never seems to happen! Today we wanted to share my family room decorated for Christmas.

Holly was my theme in this room!  Denise has ALWAYS loved holly, and she passed that down to me!  We love love love holly!

This is one of my favorite metal trays.  I filled it with some small cedar pics, red berries, and 3 battery operated candles.

This year on this tree I used Nutcrackers, Santas, and you guessed it Holly!

I used a hanging cedar garland in the middle of the mantel, and two cedar garlands on either side.  I added some holly pics, red berries, and pinecones.  I also used the rice lights on this garland.  I love the rice lights for anything like this because they are so light and they hang nicely!

My favorite holly trees!! I added a red bow at the base.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  We still have a lot to share and hopefully we will be able to get to it!  So stay tuned!!!

Christmas Garland

Hi Everyone!  How are you all today?  I still can't believe it is the middle of December, where did the time go?!?  Today we wanted to share a Christmas Garland.  Denise made this garland and used it on top of her armoire, I think it turned out beautiful!  The pinecone lights are one of my favorites!

I love how she added so many different types of pine.  It really breaks the garland up and makes everything stand out.  I also LOVE this ribbon.  We carried this at our shop this year and it was very popular!

She added the ribbon to the garland.  We are going to do a tutorial on how to do this!  It is easy you just have to have a little patience!

Soon I will be sharing her mantel if she ever decided to keep it up!  I swear everytime I go over her house it is different! haha  Hope you all are having a wonderful Holiday Season! It is snowing here today and we are excited!  Stay tuned!

Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone!  Sorry we haven't posted for awhile, we have been so busy at the shop! We are sure you all are busy too!  How is your decorating going?  We are doing pretty good this year we have most everything done!  Today we wanted to share a tree that Denise did last year, and never made it to the blog!  Her tree is totally different this year, can't wait to share it! :) This was her main tree in her Family Room.

Love the color of these deer!  I also like all of the different textures.  She is great with putting ribbon on the trees.  Have any of you tired to work with ribbon?  It can be tricky!

I absolutely love the color combination she used!  I think something that makes decorating so fun is to  collect ornaments that you can use with different colors and textures to make your tree different every year! We have lots of Christmas to share with you!  We love this time of the year!  Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned! :)
