Christmas Mantel

Hi Everyone!  We wanted to thank you all for all of your wonderful comments on Denise's Christmas Porch!  We are newer to blogging and are really enjoying everyone we are meeting.  We are so grateful for our followers and everyone who comments!  We love blogland!  Thanks to Mary and Dave from Front-Porch-Ideas-and-More for featuring our Christmas Porch,  you can check out the post here.

So today we want to share my living room Christmas Mantel.    When my husband and I moved into our house a little over 2 years ago I was so excited to have a mantel to decorate!   But you may not know, he won the battle of hanging the TV above that mantel!  Although, I do like the way it turned out and think it fits best for the room.   I was really excited when my mom had the idea to buy an electric fireplace for my living room!  This is the first year having it and I was so excited to decorate it, even though I stared at it for about two days before I figured out what to do with it! haha  Does this ever happen to you?

In my living room I tried to stick with the copper, gold, and green colors.

I used rice lights on all of the pines.  I love these lights they give off a good amount of light, they are much lighter then regular lights, and you can hide the cord easier!

I tied a burlap bow around both deer.

I love these green magnolia wreaths!  They have a hint of gold in them.

These trees are so different they shimmer with glitter.

I made each mantel piece out of various pines.  I started with a swag as a base, which let me secure the rest of the pine.

In the lanterns I used two different battery operated candles.  In the cream lantern is a Luminara candle.  Which we hope to get up on our website soon.  These are so neat!  You cannot tell it is a fake flame it is amazing, and it has a timer.  The gold lantern is a battery operated taper candle w/ a timer.

I filled a rustic box with various pines and some more rice lights.

Thank you all for stopping by!  We still have a lot more to show, and we are working on some great Christmas Tutorials.  So stay tuned!
